The scholarship is supported by the Trust Fund set up by Mr Soon Boon Seng and his family in memory of his father for the training of candidates of the CAC, Methodist Church in Singapore who desire to be in full-time Christian ministry. The scholarship covers tuition, room and board.

Current students who are receiving only partial scholarship from their supporting churches or organizations may apply for the Mustard Seed Foundation Theological Scholarship (MSFTE) through the college. Applications are subjected to the approval of the college's scholarship committee and the Mustard Seed Foundation.
Methodist students of Malaysia should contact the Chairman, Board of Ministry, for scholarships of their respective Conferences.

The College is also able to provide some financial support, in addition to the already subsidized tuition fees, to current students in need. Enquiries or applications should be made to the principal.

The College also welcomes any contributions, scholarships or trust/memorial funds to enable deserving students to be trained for Christian ministry in Singapore, Malaysia and the region beyond.
