Trinity Theological College Scholarship

Looking to become a Bible Scholar?

Here is one which you may not want to miss out.

As Trinity is the official training college of the Anglican, Lutheran, Methodist and Presbyterian Churches in Singapore and Malaysia, denominationally approved or recommended students are normally given financial support by their own denomination.
Anglican students of the Diocese of Singapore may apply for the St Peter's Hall Bursaries through the Warden, St Peter's Hall, 490 Upper Bukit Timah Road, Singapore 678093.

Students of the Lutheran Church of Malaysia and Singapore should contact the Secretary, Education Committee of the LCMS and LCS respectively through their local church pastor.

Methodist students from Asia and other parts of the world may apply for the Trinity Theological College Methodist Bursary Awards through

The bursary covers tuition, room and board.
Students of the Chinese Annual Conference of the Methodist Church in Singapore are also eligible to apply for the Soon Hong Kee Scholarship through

The scholarship is supported by the Trust Fund set up by Mr Soon Boon Seng and his family in memory of his father for the training of candidates of the CAC, Methodist Church in Singapore who desire to be in full-time Christian ministry. The scholarship covers tuition, room and board.

Current students who are receiving only partial scholarship from their supporting churches or organizations may apply for the Mustard Seed Foundation Theological Scholarship (MSFTE) through the college. Applications are subjected to the approval of the college's scholarship committee and the Mustard Seed Foundation.
Methodist students of Malaysia should contact the Chairman, Board of Ministry, for scholarships of their respective Conferences.

The College is also able to provide some financial support, in addition to the already subsidized tuition fees, to current students in need. Enquiries or applications should be made to the principal.

The College also welcomes any contributions, scholarships or trust/memorial funds to enable deserving students to be trained for Christian ministry in Singapore, Malaysia and the region beyond.

Isetan Foundation Endowed Scholarship

The Isetan Endowed Foundation Scholarship is established by the Isetan Foundation to assist deserving full-time undergraduate students currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Management at the Singapore Management University (SMU).

One Scholarship is awarded annually, commencing Academic Year 2007-08 and is tenable for one year.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this Scholarship, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Full-time undergraduates currently enrolled in the BBM programme
Singapore citizens or permanent residents
Good academic results with minimum GPA of 3.4
Demonstrated active involvement and commitment in community service (eg volunteer and charity work)

Evidence of financial hardships in the family (priority will be given to applicants with monthly per capita household income of less than $900)
Tenure and Benefits of Scholarship Award

The Scholarship, valued at up to $7,500 per year, is tenable for one year.
The Scholarship will offer financial support towards the scholar's annual education costs, such as tuition costs, laptop computers, books, expenses incurred in connection with regional Business Study Mission and/or International Student Exchange Programme with a partner university.
At the expiry of the one-year period, Scholars may apply in the subsequent year(s) for the same Scholarship if they satisfy the necessary conditions.
No bond is required of the Scholarship recipients.

Tuition Grant Scheme
Scholars are required to take advantage of the Tuition Grant Scheme (TGS) provided by the Singapore Government for subsidized education.
